Tacos are an everyday event in Mexico with many different fillings (chicken, mushroom, beef, chorizo) . Rolled it tightly and pan fried until crisp and you get the delicious Mexican flauta. Bring some music to your kitchen table, try this Tasty Mexico recipe.
Skinless, boneless chicken breast – cooked and shredded
4-6 tbsp of 2 KANKUN® CHIPOTLE SAUCE
1/4 tsp ground cumin
50 g Cheddar cheese
36 (6 inch)corn tortillas
1-Preheat oven to 175 degrees C
2-In a medium bowl Mix the shredded chicken, KANKUN® CHIPOTLE SAUCE and ground cumin.
3-Heat vegetable oil over. Place a corn tortilla in the oil for 1 to 2 seconds on either side to soften. Repeat with all of the tortillas. Place tortillas on paper towel to soak up some of the oil.
4-Put 1 tbsp of the chicken mixture in the centre of a tortilla and sprinkle some cheese on top.
5-Roll up tortilla and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet, seam side down.
6-Repeat with all of the tortillas.
7-Bake flautas in the preheated oven for 15 to 25 minutes.
8-Served with lettuce, cream and KANKUN® CHIPOTLE SAUCE
